YOUR CONGREGATION: TRUTH OR PROVISIONAL TRUTH

Your Congregation: Truth or provisional truth?

By J. Order

         First off, this may come across harsh. Not by my intentions, but by the deficiency of open ended interpretations of the following scriptures and the context they imply. Some scriptures cut sharply and refuse to let man have wiggle room to squirm out of the self diagnosing of one’s guilt or their inability to realize their own logical absence of accurate spiritual comprehension of the following scriptures. Jesus made it clear in the book of Matthew. {(Matthew 10:34) 34 “Do not assume that I have come to bring peace to the earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.”} This sword is to create divisions. From those who choose messiah, or someone else, or even something else, as their way, their truth, to life. But John 14:6 answers from Jesus, {(John 14:6) 6 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”} The words “except through me,” confirms that Jesus is the only MAN/(human being) that has that “mediator” position to our Heavenly Father, which is the source of life. Further more, 1 Timothy 2:5 clarifying with simplicity for all mankind. {(1 Timothy 2:5) 5 “For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”} Staying on topic of truth and its source, what about those claiming to take on the role of distributing that truth, yet prove to be false by the test of scripture. The leaders of religious congregations can’t say, “You must respond to our direction as the voice of God because we have the truth and are appointed by God!” Only then later to backpedal and say, “we are not inspired, we are not infallible, we are humble by admitting our adjustments/refinements because that’s what we THOUGHT and CONSIDERED at that time.” Scriptures don’t change and The voice of God through a prophet comes to pass. Date setting of Jesus’s return has proved many claimed righteous spiritual denominations to show the true spirit at work behind their curtain of Delusions. So what is a good verse to test these false prophets who preach as if they are God’s direct channel? Answer:  {(Deuteronomy 18:19-22) 19”And I will hold accountable anyone who does not listen to My words that that prophet speaks in My name. 20But if any prophet dares to speak a message in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or to speak in the name of other gods, that prophet must be put to death.” 21You may ask in your heart, “How can we recognize a message that the LORD has not spoken?” 22When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD and the message does not come to pass or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. The prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.”}

The question is, would one swallow their pride and sacrifice their traditional religious lifestyle they are currently entangled in, when presented with the enlightenment of spiritual truth with undeniable clarity. Well, would YOU? Do YOU have passion for the truth? Do you believe you already have it and stopped discerning your believed truths against another’s decrees and their truths? Watch out for those who claim they have a Devine channel straight from God and that is why they only have “the truth” yet never claim its “provisional truth” while the whole time they make adjustments or receive new revelations. High control groups/cults provide their own biased information, sectarian translations, scripture interpretations, and reasons why you should never look outside of their own source material or you may be misled and end up deceived and believing what is false. According to Thessalonians we are warned of this in clear context.

{(2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) 10 “and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. 11 For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, 12 in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.”} That lack of discernment and lack of passion for truth actually can leave one arrogant, feeling that they possess absolute truth and so they will run from defending the faith by saying, “I’m not going to argue/debate scriptures with you, God gave us free will and you are free to believe what you choose.” But Jude 1:3 destroys that self destructive way of thinking. {(Jude 1:3) 3 “Beloved, although I made every effort to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt it necessary to write and urge you to contend earnestly for the faith entrusted once for all to the saints.”}  To sum this up, it is up to the individual’s responsibility to discern what their congregational “truths” consist of. What type of truth are you absorbing? Be aware if they are saying, “You must adhere to our direction set by our leaders today because we preach the truth,” only then some time later, hear them say, “we have received new enlightenment and understanding of the scriptures so now follow our new direction.” There is no stability on claimed truths that shift like sand. You can adjust your footing by doing your own research, discerning scriptures and praying for truth knowing that you won’t sink on the rock of spiritual guidance. The spirit of God will help you to dissect through the misguided spiritual uniformity and find those who freedom to humbly claim they are preaching “provisional truths” and offer you clarity on the biblical teachings that are simple and logical. But, allows you to have Unity with Christ while you come to your own realizations without hearing from controlling leaders who add man made bible rules disguised in phrases such as “bible principles.”  So I’m going to end this with words that are not of my own, but powerful scriptures about this spiritual guidance from God. {(1 Corinthians 2:10-13) 10”But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11For who among men knows the thoughts of man except his own spirit within him? So too, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12We have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13And this is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.”}
